The Big Sing Musical Improv Festival features 3 x jam-packed nights of incredible improvised musical theatre and comedy by top local and international groups. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, the elegant Calabria 66 theatre will be home to the festival’s mainstage program of unscripted musical storytelling. Then, on Friday and Saturday, catch the late night shows at Barcelona Improv Group.

Everything from the laughs, licks, and lyrics, to the songs, staging, and singalongs is completely improvised and made up on the spot. Whether you join us for 1 night, or all 3, you'll be tapping your toes all the way home from Barcelona’s biggest improv event!

• Limbo: A Dance in the Mind - Directed by Pedro Larraya
  Join this mixed cast in a showcase performance after three full days of a technical exploration into the expressive possibilities of Soundpainting and its potential to craft emotionally resonant compositions ending in a journey through a showcase of dreams to spark reflections on the human condition. You’ve never seen anything like this.

• Stacejam - Stacey Smith (Netherlands)
  A one woman musical show in which Stacey plays every character.
  
  Stacey Smith is a powerhouse performer, director, and educator with over a decade of experience. Known for her explosive shows, relentless positivity, and unmatched work ethic, she previously served as Artistic Director and Director of Education at the legendary Boom Chicago Theater in Amsterdam, where she was also a mainstage cast member. Originally from Long Island, New York, Stacey grew up steeped in music and musical theater before studying theater, speech, and music at university. She moved to Chicago to pursue comedy, where she trained at The Second City, iO, and The Annoyance, landing her first full-time gig touring with The Second City in 2012.

• A Completely Improvised Musical - Impromptunes (Australia)
