The Big Sing Musical Improv Festival features 3 x jam-packed nights of incredible improvised musical theatre and comedy by top local and international groups. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, the elegant Calabria 66 theatre will be home to the festival’s main stage program of unscripted musical storytelling. Then, on Friday and Saturday, catch the late night shows at Barcelona Improv Group.

Everything from the laughs, licks, and lyrics, to the songs, staging, and singalongs is completely improvised and made up on the spot. Whether you join us for 1 night, or all 3, you'll be tapping your toes all the way home from Barcelona’s biggest improv event!

  The Shakedown take a simple audience suggestion and weave it into a montage of improvised scenes and songs. Sit back and marvel as you're whisked away on a musical journey across multiple genres and themes. Meet fascinating, hilarious characters for the first and last time, and prepare to have that one chorus stuck in your head for days.
  
  The Shakedown are an international group of improvisers who've been shaking up stages in Berlin and beyond since 2019. Hailing from Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Latvia, England and the USA, The Shakedown strive to delight audiences with their blend of tight, catchy songs, wild improv scenes, and a generous helping of raw emotion.
