This fun, low-pressure afternoon of games and play is suitable for anyone, from acting hot shots to total newbies. All levels and language abilities are catered for, and the focus is on having fun and giving it a go. Secondary benefits may include improved confidence, stress relief, giggling fits, new friends and spontaneous outbursts of joy!
Every open workshop has a different theme and a different instructor with an emphasis on giving it a go, and getting plenty of chances to play. If you’ve been to one of our shows, and think this improv thing looks like fun (if a little impossible), join us for a session and see just how fun and possible it can be.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The theatre opens at 4:45pm and the workshop begins promptly 5pm at which point the doors will be locked so that teachers can begin the class. At 5:15pm the doors will open again, to welcome anyone who has arrived late. If you arrive after 5pm, please wait for the second admission time and do not ring the bell. Participants arriving after 5:15pm will not be admitted, and their tickets will be forfeited to minimise disruption to the other participants
Thank you for your understanding that all ticket sales are final, and we’re unable to offer refunds or date changes, just like larger venues such as theatres, cinemas, and festivals. This policy is strictly enforced. However, you’re welcome to gift or resell your workshop to a friend or family member- just make sure they have the tickets.
